Central Coast Energy has spent more than fifteen years learning exactly what it takes to make a solar and battery system perform here on the Central Coast, from the salt air rolling in near the lakes to the summer humidity and storm season most installers only read about. Working out of Tuggerah, they’ve built that local knowledge into every system they design, so what goes on your roof is made for the conditions you actually live in, not the display home conditions in a glossy brochure.
One thing that might surprise you if you’re used to dealing with bigger solar companies: when you ring Central Coast Energy, you’re talking to the actual people who’ll be on your roof, not a call centre reading from a script. They run their own team of qualified electricians rather than subcontracting the work out, so the crew that quotes the job is the same crew that shows up to install it and the ones you’d call if something needed a look down the track.
That same local knowledge shows up in what actually goes on your roof. After years of watching which products hold up best in these conditions, they work with well respected brands including Sungrow, Goodwe, Jinko, Trina, Tesla and Alpha ESS, and every installer on the tools is SAA accredited under NETCC’s approved seller scheme. Add in the ten year workmanship warranty that comes standard on every job, and you’re getting a system backed by people who’ll still be around, and still accountable, long after the last panel goes up.
It’s a similar mindset behind their website, where they regularly publish articles aimed at helping homeowners actually understand solar, rather than just pushing them toward a decision.
Word of mouth backs all of this up. They’re sitting on a 4.9 star rating from more than 200 Google reviews, and the theme that keeps coming up isn’t just the quality of the install, it’s the communication. Customers mention getting straight answers to their questions and coming home to a clean site with no mess left behind.
If you’re after an installer who’s been doing this on the Central Coast long enough to have seen a fair few storms roll through, holds proper accreditation, and will still pick up the phone if you need a follow up down the track, Central Coast Energy is worth getting a quote from.
