Maximum Solar

Maximum Solar is a Hobart-based company with offices in both Hobart and Launceston, run by long-time Tassie locals Patrick Bass and Antonio Macri. With 13 years of industry experience between them, they’ve built a reputation as one of the most trusted solar installers in the state, with consistently strong reviews that speak to how they handle the entire process from first conversation through to final installation.

What sets Maximum Solar apart from most installers on the market is their exclusive partnership with Tindo Solar, Australia’s only domestic solar panel manufacturer. Tindo panels are designed and built specifically for Australian conditions, and as the country’s number one Tindo installer, Maximum Solar has an unusually deep knowledge of how these panels perform in Tasmania’s specific climate. For Hobart homeowners, that combination of locally designed product and locally knowledgeable installer is genuinely hard to find.

Their product range also covers a strong inverter lineup including Sungrow, Fronius, and SMA, with Tesla Powerwall available for homeowners thinking ahead to battery storage. Every installation uses marine-grade rust-proof steel racking, which matters more than people realise in Tasmania’s coastal and variable weather conditions. They also back their workmanship with a 10-year warranty, which reflects real confidence in how the job is done.

If you’re a Hobart homeowner looking for an installer with genuine local roots, a strong product offering, and the kind of team that customers consistently say goes above and beyond to get the job done right, Maximum Solar is well worth a call.
